David Dussy
Dr. iur., Attorney-at-Law, Partner
David Dussy, born in 1965, specialises in construction and real estate law. He advises private and institutional investors throughout the planning, developing and realisation stages of construction projects. With his many years of practical experience, he advises landowners about building permits, planning or expropriation procedures and environmental issues (waste, contaminated soil and contaminated buildings). He is also familiar with issues relating to the protection of historic buildings. He ensures that construction projects are built on a sound basis right from the outset by supporting builder-owners in drafting development, planning and contractor agreements (in particular architect and general planner agreements, general contractor agreements, total contractor agreements) and also handles the enforcement of claims for defects. For clients concerned with facility management, he drafts rental and lease agreements, represents them in all sorts of tenancy law proceedings and enforces their claims under tenancy law (termination of rental agreement, expulsion of tenants and rent increases). He advises land owners on problems related to neighbourhood rights and the establishment of easements. He also provides legal support to customers or suppliers within the framework of public tenders, e.g. preparation of tendering procedures, and appeal procedures.
He practices as a consultant and also represents clients in court.
